If the Organic Sisters are involved, it’s less far-fetched than you think!

The Organic Sisters are on a mission to help families transition from processed and unhealthy foods to foods that are wholesome, delicious, and satisfying.

They believe that feeding your family real food shouldn’t be boring or hard work — and that you don’t have to give up desserts to do it!

Their incredible Chocolate Mousse Cake is the real deal — and has earned a glowing testimonial from Jon Gabriel himself!

“It tastes exactly like a chocolate mousse on the top with a nice, crunchy base — it’s really, really good,” says Jon.

But of course, you’ll want to find out for yourself!

Organic Sisters Chocolate Mousse Cake

1 ½ cups almonds (can use ground almond to skip a step)
4 medjool dates, pitted
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp coconut oil (+ extra 1 tbsp, if needed)

Grind almonds in a food processor
Add dates, chia seeds, and coconut oil and mix well
Press base mix into springform pan lined with wax or parchment paper
Place into freezer to set

4 large Avocados
½ cup coconut cream
⅓ – ½ cup coconut nectar (to taste)
2 tsp vanilla bean paste
¾ cup cacao powder

Slice avocados and scoop out flesh
Mix together all filling ingredients until they’re fully combined and reach a creamy consistency
Pour filling mixture onto cake base and spread evenly
Set in freezer for 3 hours

Note: cake needs to be quite firm to remove from tin.

“This is a great family cake recipe,” the Organic Sisters explain. “It’s a fantastic way to hide avocado in a delicious chocolate cake (and the kids would never know)!”

This cake can be conveniently stored in the freezer — just make sure to move it to the fridge 1-2 hours before serving!
